The Applet Midge has been designed to imitate the very small, olive-toned insects that trout were frequently feeding at the San Juan River in New Mexico. Since the design, this midge has been a successful BWO midge in the rivers and creeks. Especially when the trout are keying on tiny and when the hatch is subtle.
